DR WiFi

BEFORE DOORS OPEN

A plan your production team can use.

See the questions we ask and the decisions a scoped review can support. Use this checklist with your event producer and the venue’s authorized technology team.

Illustrative deliverables — not a client report or a capacity certification.

Four outputs. One agreed scope.

01

Requirements map

Critical applications, simultaneous devices, rooms and peak moments. Separate production, exhibitors and attendees.

02

Evidence & risk register

Record what is verified, what remains unknown, the operational impact and the next action. A missing measurement is not a passing result.

03

Readiness & fallback checklist

Agreed checks, responsible owners and fallback options for each critical workflow. Changes remain subject to venue approval.

04

Escalation & handover plan

Who investigates the Internet handoff, local network and Wi-Fi; what evidence to collect; when to involve the authorized provider.

Where we isolate the problem

  1. 01Internet / ISP
  2. 02Local network
  3. 03Wi-Fi / clients

Review evidence at the boundaries. A symptom at the client does not by itself identify the failing component.

Bring these to a discovery call

  • Event dates, venue, rooms and local time zone
  • Who owns production, network decisions and venue access?
  • Expected simultaneous devices and the applications that must work
  • Current Internet services, provider contacts and network diagram, if available
  • Peak moments, known issues and any approved test window
  • Decision deadline, available budget and preferred delivery format

For the first conversation, a high-level description is enough. Do not send passwords, customer data or confidential network configurations through the enquiry form.

ILLUSTRATIVE SAMPLE

Example of an open risk

A secondary Internet link is listed, but its independence from the primary path has not been verified.

Evidence: provider description only; no observed failover test.

Next action: ask the authorized provider to confirm dependencies and propose a safe test window.

Owner: the event technical lead and authorized venue provider.

Decision: keep this item open until the agreed evidence is reviewed. Do not label it “ready” from an inventory list alone.

Start with a free 20-minute discovery call.

We confirm fit, the decision you need to make, access and availability. A technical review is paid work with a written scope and quote. The actual deliverables depend on that agreement.

Venue exclusivity and technical permissions apply. No guaranteed capacity, savings, response time or on-site coverage.
